Job summary
The Assistant Maintenance Manager at W.C. Bradley Co. supports the Maintenance Manager in leading maintenance at WCB Outdoor Cooking’s pellet facility in Hope, AR.
You ensure reliable equipment performance, plant safety, and production continuity in a 24/7 operation. This hands-on role coordinates maintenance activities, supervises technicians, and develops a comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance program for major systems to deliver high-quality pellets powering our premium outdoor
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (preferred) or equivalent technical experience.
- 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead and schedule maintenance technicians across shifts to ensure consistent plant coverage.
- Create and manage a preventive and predictive maintenance program to maximize uptime.
- Oversee maintenance of pelletizers, hammer mills, dryers, conveyors, packaging systems, and dust collection equipment.
- Coordinate planned maintenance shutdowns and respond to equipment breakdowns with timely troubleshooting.
- Ensure safety training and compliance with OSHA, NFPA, and dust standards.
