Job summary

Hargrove EPC in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Designer to perform the complete design of complex electrical and instrumentation assignments, using theoretical knowledge and practical design methods under general supervision.

You will create deliverables with CAD tools, prepare BOMs and cables lists, and collaborate with mechanical, process, and structural teams to meet project requirements while complying with NFPA-70, IEEE, ISA and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

Associate degree required in Engineering Technology or CAD.
8+ years of relevant industrial experience in electrical and instrumentation drafting and design.
Proficient with CAD tools and able to perform technical calculations.

Responsibilities

Create electrical and instrumentation deliverables using CAD software.
Prepare BOMs, cable schedules, device and component lists, and scopes of work.
Collaborate with mechanical, process, and structural teams to ensure design package meets requirements.
Ensure designs comply with NFPA-70, IEEE, ISA, OSHA, and company standards.
