Job summary

Aalo Atomics is seeking an Electrical Cognizant System Engineer (CSE) to own lifecycle electrical and instrumentation/control systems at the CAF on the Aalo-X site. You will manage RPS, neutron instrumentation, ICS hardware/software, and related electrical I&C systems, interfacing with operations, safety, QA, and vendors.

You will ensure designs, configurations, tests, and documentation are accurate and controlled, supporting reliability and safety-critical performance across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• 5+ years of electrical/instrumentation/controls or nuclear experience.
• Experience with electrical I&C systems in industrial facilities.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams and control logic.
• Strong analytical and technical communication skills.
• DOE nuclear facility or related standards familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of system functions, design requirements, interfaces and current configuration.
• Serve as engineering contact for assigned electrical and I&C systems.
• Review surveillance, calibration data, functional tests and performance records.
• Support changes, testing, and documentation during modifications.
• Assist with troubleshooting and post-maintenance acceptance criteria.
