Job summary

LJA Energy is seeking a Project Manager – Midstream to lead multidisciplinary engineering projects across the oil and gas sector within the Energy Division. You will manage pursuit, scope, execution, and client interactions, coordinating with contractors and internal teams to ensure timely, quality deliverables.

The role requires 4–8 years of project management experience in midstream environments, PE licensure or ability to obtain, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in TX or reciprocal states, or ability to obtain licensure within one year.
• 4–8 years of experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects in the oil and gas sector.
• Experience with midstream facilities and installations.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, PFDs, facility site planning, equipment specification and procurement, and construction package assembly.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project.
• Experience managing and mentoring engineering and design staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering projects in the Energy Division from pursuit through execution.
• Interact with clients, contractors, and internal design teams to ensure delivery and quality.
• Bid phase involvement, respond to RFIs, and provide technical support.
• Coordinate QA/QC for engineering packages and complete document packages.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams on medium-sized projects and larger programs.
