Job summary

Kodiak Robotics, Inc. is seeking a Sr Electrical Harness Engineer to design and validate electrical wire harnesses for autonomous vehicles. The role requires deep harness expertise, IPC familiarity, and hands-on debugging of CAN and Ethernet buses.

You will collaborate across Electrical, Mechanical, and Integration teams and manage external manufacturing partners. Located in Mountain View, CA, the position offers a competitive package with equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years hardware development experience, automotive/aerospace preferred.
• Deep understanding of electrical harness designs.
• Familiar with IPC quality standards.
• Experience with CAN and Ethernet in-vehicle debugging.

Responsibilities

• Design high-quality harness assemblies for systems with high speed, low voltage and high power.
• Create and validate harness schematics and diagrams.
• Collaborate with external partners for harness manufacturing.
• Manage harness BOM, component selection, and validation.
• Lead root cause analysis and electrical issue resolution.
• Interface with Software, Mechanical, Manufacturing and suppliers.
• Own full lifecycle of harness design from reviews to release.
