Job summary

Beehive Industries is recruiting a Senior Engineer, Design & Modeling - Harness to lead the electrical harness design across aerospace systems. You will work with Controls, Systems, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure robust, production-ready harness designs that meet system requirements and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field, 5+ years of experience, and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution
• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience designing electrical harnesses, interconnect systems, or related electrical components for regulated aerospace/defense systems
• Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering software for 3D routing and documentation

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and development of electrical harnesses and related components from concept through production
• Develop harness design definitions including 3D routing models, 2D drawings, wiring diagrams, and pinout documentation
• Own wire harness routing designs and flattened harness drawings using CAD tools
• Define and select electrical components based on technical and environmental requirements
• Create and maintain engineering documentation and lifecycle records
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges and support design reviews
• Analyze harness designs for manufacturability, reliability, and system integration
• Support electrical system integration, testing, and verification throughout lifecycle
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers
