Job summary

Sierra Space is seeking a Sr Electrical Engineer to lead harness design in 3D, develop and evaluate highly complex electrical components, and mentor junior engineers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, perform tests and simulations, and ensure designs meet stringent aerospace requirements.

Ideal candidates have extensive experience in power and control systems, EWIS, and PCB layout, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities. Security clearance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of related experience in electrical design for aerospace/avionics systems.
• Expertise in harness design, PCB layouts, and power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of EWIS, CD&H, and electrical system architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex electrical components and harness 3D systems.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements and standards.
• Perform tests, simulations, and verifications to validate electrical designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and manage technical risk across projects.
