Job summary

HiArc, a Twenty-Six Defense company, seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a hardware development team for medical diagnostics technologies. You will blend management and technical contribution, guiding projects with clients across applications and ensuring on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline with at least 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, electronic design, and development.
• Leadership and management experience relevant to leading a hardware team.
• Experience with schematic and PCB designs for electromechanical systems, including motors.
• Familiarity with medical device design and testing is preferred.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an electrical hardware development team of 5 to 8 people.
• Provide technical leadership over complex design and development projects.
• Design and deliver high-quality embedded electrical designs for medical diagnostics hardware.
• Create and review specifications, schematics, and drawings.
• Collaborate with software, systems, mechanical, and non-engineering teams to meet program goals.
• Engage with suppliers and service bureaus for PCB layout, fabrication, and assembly.
