Job summary

HiArc in New Hampshire seeks an Electrical Hardware Engineering Manager to lead a small team of hardware engineers and technicians. You will blend management with hands-on design leadership for medical diagnostics hardware, driving quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include steering a 5–8 person team, designing robust embedded electronics, creating specs, collaborating with software, systems, and manufacturing, and presenting to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
• Leadership and 1–3+ years of management experience.
• Expertise with schematic and PCB designs using mixed digital/analog circuits.
• Proficiency with FPGA and VHDL preferred.
• Experience in medical device design is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage an electrical hardware development team of 5 to 8 people.
• Develop and utilize the talents of personnel to accomplish company goals.
• Review job performance of team members and manage promotions, transfers, and compensation changes as warranted.
• Provide technical leadership over complex design and development projects.
• Design, implement, and deliver high-quality embedded electrical designs for the business.
• Create, maintain, and review technical documents and reports.
