Job summary

HiArc is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineering Manager in Merrimack, NH to lead a hardware team delivering embedded electronics for medical diagnostics. You will guide design, development, and documentation for high-performance solutions.

You will collaborate with software, systems, electrical, and mechanical teams, ensure manufacturability, work with suppliers, and drive projects to on-time delivery with quality results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in electrical engineering; 10+ years in EE and development.
• Leadership and management experience essential; 1–3+ years preferred.
• Expertise with mixed-signal schematic/PCB designs for electromechanical systems.
• FPGA and VHDL Experience preferred.
• Experience with medical devices design is advantageous.
• Familiarity with test equipment and fixtures design.
• Ability to work across software, systems, electrical, and mechanical teams.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an electrical hardware development team of 5–8 people.
• Provide technical leadership on major hardware projects.
• Design robust embedded electrical hardware and documentation.
• Ensure DFM/DFT practices and testability in designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet schedule and budget.
• Engage with service bureaus and suppliers on PCB layout and fabrication.
