Job summary

FUTEK is seeking a Lead Electrical Hardware & Systems Engineer to own the architecture, design, validation, and release of electrical hardware for precision sensor platforms. You will define hardware direction and drive decisions across firmware, software, mechanical, test, and manufacturing.

You will develop analog and mixed-signal circuits, oversee PCB layouts with Altium, lead board bring-up, and collaborate across teams to deliver production-ready hardware and scalable future platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in electrical hardware for instrumentation.
• Strong expertise in analog/digital signal conditioning and power management.
• Proven ownership from requirements to production release.
• Experience with Altium, schematic capture, PCB layout and DFM/DFT.
• Experience with EMI/EMC, ESD, and reliability practices.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical hardware architecture and PCB design oversight.
• Lead hardware bring-up, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with firmware/software on interfaces (CAN, Ethernet, USB, SPI, I2C).
• Develop test procedures and production-support plans.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate cross-functional work.
