Job summary

Integrated Personnel Services Limited seeks an experienced Electrical Hardware Design Engineer to lead hardware development for advanced sensor and display systems. The role involves end-to-end board design, prototyping, and collaborative testing with customers.

You will work on high-speed interfaces, EMI/EMC testing, and regulatory certification support, coordinating with fabrication and integration teams to bring up and validate hardware in real-world scenarios.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4-year degree in electrical/electronics and 8+ years of related experience.
• Experience supporting FCC/UL/CE certifications.
• Lab testing experience for EMI/EMC.
• Hardware testing and field issues resolution.

Responsibilities

• Design boards with microprocessors (iMX8/iMX9) and microcontrollers (ESP32/STM32).
• Develop and verify display interfaces (MIPI DSI, LVDS, HDMI).
• Create schematics and layouts using Altium or Cadence; review Gerber files.
• Troubleshoot hardware boards and perform signal integrity, power integrity, and thermal analysis.
• Coordinate with fabrication/assembly teams; conduct bring-up and performance testing.
• Develop sensor boards (motion, light, accelerometer, temp, gyroscope, magnetometer) and interface with HMI module (SPI, I2C, Serial, UART, USB, DSI, CSI).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (UL/FCC) and field-test issues.
