Engineering Systems Inc. (ESi) is seeking a senior electrical engineering consultant with 10–15 years of experience in consulting, design, or forensic investigation. You will apply NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and OSHA regulations, conduct field inspections, prepare expert reports, and provide testimony. Travel may be required across the national practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's degree or Ph.D. preferred.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) required.

Responsabilités

• Investigates electrical system failures, equipment malfunctions, construction defects, electrical fires, shock and electrocution incidents, and related electrical engineering matters.
• Performs engineering analysis and applies NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE standards, and OSHA regulations.
• Conducts field inspections of electrical systems, equipment, and installations.
• Authors high-quality technical reports and provides expert opinions.
• Provides expert testimony at deposition and trial.
• Conducts client presentations.
• Establishes work plan and staffing for each phase of project, and assigns personnel.
• Directs and coordinates projects within schedule and budget.
• Works with Business Development to identify potential clients and strategies to build client base.
• Mentors early-career employees and pursues professional development.
