Job summary

ABM Industries in Charlotte, NC seeks an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA or NICET 2 or equivalent) to join our Electrical Power Services team. The role focuses on the safe installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory, with about 25% travel.

Pay is $40.00 - $47.00 hourly plus available overtime. ABM offers a comprehensive benefits package and incentives such as sign-on bonuses, relocation assistance, a take-home company service

Qualifications

Must hold a NETA or NICET 2 certification or equivalent.
Experience with safe installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment.
Ability to travel approximately 25% and work independently or with a crew.

Responsibilities

Perform safe installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the territory.
Record data, evaluate test results, and prepare field service reports.
Coach and mentor Level 1 and 2 trainees and assistants as assigned.
