Job summary

ABM Industries in Charlotte, NC seeks an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA or NICET 2 or equivalent) to join our Electrical Power Services team. The role focuses on the safe installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory, with about 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Must hold a NETA or NICET 2 certification or equivalent.
• Experience with safe installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment.

• Record data, evaluate test results, and prepare field service reports.
• Coach and mentor Level 1 and 2 trainees and assistants as assigned.

Job description

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA or NICET 2 or equivalent) to join our Electrical Power Services team in Charlotte, NC. The Electrical Field Test Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient installation and testing of electrical power distribution equipment for customers in the assigned territory. In this role, you will travel approximately 25% of the time, working both independently and with a crew, and handle the performance and management of routine, moderately complex, and complex tasks and projects, record-keeping, evaluation of test data, and preparation of field service reports. Additionally, Level 3 Technicians will be responsible to coach, mentoring, training, developing, and supervising Level 1 and 2 Trainees and Assistants.

Position Summary

Pay:$40.00 - $47.00 hourly + plus available paid overtime.
