Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Electrical Field Test Technician (NETA 2 or equivalent) to join our Electrical Power Services team. You will travel to customer sites, inspect, test, troubleshoot, and collect data on electrical systems across varied projects. The role emphasizes safe testing practices and accurate field reporting.

Base hourly pay ranges from $45.00 to $50.00 with overtime. A comprehensive benefits package is offered; relocation and schedule flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in electrical testing.
• Experience working with a team.
• Experience on projects.
• Familiar with NFPA70E electrical safety standards.
• Ability to travel regionally up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to inspect, test, troubleshoot, perform start-up and collect data on electrical systems.
• Assign work on projects to technicians and ensure consistent testing across staff.
• Track project scope completion and communicate with management and customers.
• Test, inspect and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment including switchgear and breakers.
• Test and calibrate relays, metering, and motor controls.
• Review and submit timecards, expense reports and project documentation.
