Sargent & Lundy seeks an Electrical Specialist for field assignments primarily in the southeastern United States. You will oversee and optimize electrical systems across power generation assets, driving safety, reliability, and efficiency while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading maintenance activities, diagnosing issues, and enforcing safety protocols. Travel across multiple sites is expected as projects demand, with per diem eligibility for qualified

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 12 years of experience in electrical installations, operations and maintenance in power generation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of power plant electrical systems incl. transformers, switchgear, generators, control systems.
• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities for electrical systems.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, standards and safety practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness to travel across the United States as required.

Aufgaben

• Oversee greenfield, brownfield, routine and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
• Lead troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve complex electrical issues promptly.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and safety to plan and execute maintenance with minimal downtime.
• Develop and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor performance and efficiency, recommending improvements and modifications.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections and performance metrics for compliance.
• Provide technical leadership to plant operators and maintenance teams.
• Ensure work aligns with drawings, specifications and contractual requirements.
• Track progress and highlight key activities in daily reports.
• Support stakeholders with proactive communication and creative problem solving.
