Job summary

Rocket Lab USA in Long Beach, CA is hiring a Senior/Master Facilities Technician to oversee electrical maintenance and infrastructure upgrades at HQ and the Engine Development Center. The role involves leading electrical projects, coordinating with multiple internal teams, and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Senior or Master level candidates with extensive electrical maintenance experience in regulated environments will be considered.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical maintenance experience in regulated industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical devices, or similar manufacturing facilities.
• High School Diploma, GED, or 12+ years experience in electrical maintenance in lieu of diploma.
• Experience with facilities systems and improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary electrical SME for HQ and Engine Development Center.
• Plan, scope, and execute electrical infrastructure projects (power distribution, panel upgrades, etc.).
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, EHS, Production, IT to define requirements and timelines.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and construction drawings.
• Ensure NEC and local code compliance and supervise contractor work.
