You will review project requirements, perform quantity takeoffs, develop labor/material costs, and coordinate with Sales, Project Management, and Procurement to produce competitive bids.

The role emphasizes mentorship, process improvement, and reliable bid handoffs to project execution, with up to 25% travel and a day shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related experience in construction management, engineering, or business.
• 10+ years estimating or related construction experience, with large-scale project exposure.
• 3+ years in a management or leadership role.
• Proficiency with Excel and estimating software.
• Experience reading drawings, specs, and contracts; bid/price strategy.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical estimating team and mentor junior staff.
• Develop and review quantities, labor, material, and subcontractor costs.
• Prepare accurate bid packages within deadlines.
• Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Contracts.
• Support bid strategy and value-engineering opportunities.
