Job summary

Jobot seeks an experienced Permanent Electrical Estimator (Substations) to join our team. You will prepare accurate cost estimates for substations, transmission, and BESS projects, collaborating with PMs and engineers to capture all scope details.

Key requirements include 5+ years in electrical estimating, strong blueprint interpretation, and expertise with Accubid and EBM. This role offers solid advancement potential and competitive compensation in the United States.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of electrical estimating experience with substations and/or MV/HV utility projects.
• Proficiency in Accubid and EBM estimating software is required.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes and reading blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates for electrical substation, transmission, and BESS projects including labor, materials and equipment.
• Review blueprints and specs to determine scope and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with PMs, engineers, and contractors to gather data for estimates.
• Prepare and submit competitive bids to win projects.
• Utilize Accubid and EBM to improve estimate accuracy and efficiency.
