Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator in Crown Point, Indiana to support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high‑voltage power delivery projects. You will develop accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization, collaborating with engineering, project management, and procurement to ensure competitive bids.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 3+ years of estimating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of estimating or project experience within power delivery, utilities, or heavy electrical construction.
• Experience estimating substation projects.

Responsibilities

• Support preconstruction and proposal development for medium and high-voltage power delivery projects.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for substation construction, expansion, and modernization; work with engineering, PM, and procurement to ensure competitive bids.
