Job summary

InPwr, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to analyze blueprints, determine material quantities and labor needed for bids, and work with customers to secure contracts. The role leverages NEC knowledge and experience to improve estimating accuracy and bid competitiveness.

The position will coordinate with BD and PM teams to craft proposals with precise labor/material counts. Remote, hybrid or on-site work options are available across Indianapolis, Denver, or

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of electrical estimating experience.
• Experience in large commercial, industrial, or water treatment is preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical estimating software such as Accubid.
• An associate or bachelor's degree in related field or an Electrical Journeyman’s License.

Responsibilities

• Create/revise estimates, proposals, and change orders for current and prospective jobs.
• Work with business development and project management to build proposals that include accuracy in labor, time, and materials.
• Identify project cost trends to assist management in cost reduction and process improvements.
• Responsible for project handoff between estimating and project management once awarded.
• Request material and equipment quotes from vendors and equipment suppliers.
• Review supplier quotes to confirm adherence to quote requests and accuracy.
