Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Remote) to support a major semiconductor facility project. You will prepare electrical cost estimates, perform quantity take-offs, and manage commercial aspects of complex electrical installations.

The role requires strong procurement, tender evaluation, and change management capabilities, with a minimum of five years in QS/estimating. Remote work is offered with on-site considerations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and/or estimating in construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts.
• RICS accreditation or working towards it is valuable.
• Experience supporting cost management on medium to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Advising client on strategies, evaluating tenders and change orders, and presenting recommendations.
• Independently evaluate contractor/subcontractor bids and prepare commercial recommendations.
• Review, validate, and negotiate variations and compensation events.
• Provide cost comparisons and manage change in fast-track design and construction environments.
