Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in electrical construction estimating.
• Experience on projects up to $15M in electrical value.
• Proficient with ACCUBID and Bluebeam for estimating and markup.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings to prepare detailed estimates using current estimating software.
• Manage large and/or multiple project estimates independently.
• Lead a team of junior estimators on a project pursuit.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams on estimates.
• Prepare proposals and bid forms as required by customers.
• Review estimates with Chief Estimator before submission.
• Support preconstruction with cost estimates in design pursuits.
• Organize and lead kickoff/hand-off meetings on awarded projects.
• Identify qualified suppliers and solicit quotes for bids.
• Provide value engineering and cost alternatives as needed.
