Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership and mentoring of junior estimators.
• Experience managing multiple bids and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead detailed electrical estimates for large/complex projects.
• Review plans, specs, and related documents to determine scope.
• Perform quantity take-offs for electrical systems.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
• Develop labor, material, and equipment cost estimates.
• Identify value engineering and cost-saving opportunities.
• Conduct risk analysis for pricing.
• Prepare bid proposals and participate in bid reviews.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients during preconstruction.
• Maintain cost databases and estimating tools.
• Support handoff to operations after award.
• Mentor junior estimating staff.
