Job summary

SECO of GA, LLC is seeking a Senior Commercial Electrical Estimator to own the full estimating function for high-value Southeast projects. You will lead takeoffs, labor estimates, and bid packages, shaping the win probability while collaborating with a leadership team that values autonomy.

In-office role in Covington, GA, with a focus on mid-six to seven-figure commercial contracts and a path to scale estimating standards across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience pricing commercial electrical projects in mid-six to seven-figure ranges.
• Proven track record managing a high-volume bid calendar and meeting deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret complex commercial plans, specs, and addenda.
• Strong ownership mentality with autonomous work style.
• Proficiency in digital estimating tools and Excel for material and labor calculations.

Responsibilities

• Qualify bid opportunities through direct engagement with General Contractors for strategic fit.
• Produce precise electrical takeoffs and labor estimates for large-scale projects.
• Defend technical estimates during scope review calls with confidence.
• Maintain a rigorous proposal log to track bid statuses and market patterns.
• Execute professional bid packages that meet ITB deadlines and GC requirements.
• Develop relationships with GC estimators to increase SECO’s win rate.
• Refine unit cost libraries and digital estimating standards for efficiency.
