Job summary

A leading electrical construction firm located in Texas is seeking a Senior Estimator to manage the preparation of bid documents and cost estimates for projects. The role involves leading estimation efforts, interacting with suppliers and customers, and providing mentorship to junior Estimators. Candidates must hold a relevant Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 4 years of experience in estimating. Proficiency in Accubid and Microsoft Office is preferred. Relocation assistance is provided for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ estimating or other relevant experience.
• Experience in closing construction estimates.
• Ability to mentor and develop Estimators.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-offs on projects.
• Review proposals and determine scope of work.
• Lead teams in preparing discipline sub-estimates.
• Evaluate value engineering cost savings.
• Maintain all working documents and data.
