Job summary

CEC is seeking an Electrical Estimator in Irving, TX to manage the complete estimating take-off process for commercial and industrial projects. The role involves analyzing plans, preparing bid packages, and using Accubid and LiveCount to produce comprehensive estimates.

You will mentor junior estimators, ensure codes are followed, review vendor/material scopes, and present final packages to executives. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; related experience preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Commercial Construction Estimator, preferably in CEC's core markets.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates by analyzing plans and take-offs for electrical work.
• Itemize subcontractor scopes and prepare bid packages.
• Complete accurate take-offs using Accubid and LiveCount.
• Prepare bids from 100% Design Development to Issued for Construction drawings.
