Job summary
Superior in Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead accurate electrical project estimates and drive competitive bids for commercial construction. You will interpret drawings, review specs, perform quantity takeoffs, and collaborate with internal teams and trade partners to win and execute projects.
The role requires at least 5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction, with knowledge of Accubid or Bluebeam preferred.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience in commercial projects.
- Electrical construction experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Accubid and Bluebeam.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quantity takeoffs of electrical items.
- Lead proposal submissions and manage vendor relationships.
- Coordinate with project teams to align scope and change orders.
- Conduct site visits to assess field requirements.
- Maintain an estimate revision log and support project goals.
