Job summary

Superior is seeking a Senior Project Estimator in Columbus, Ohio to lead accurate, competitive estimating for electrical construction projects. You will interpret drawings, review specifications, perform detailed quantity takeoffs, and develop reliable project estimates while collaborating with internal teams, customers, and trade partners.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 5 years of Project Estimating Experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs of electrical items and devices.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and accurate proposal submissions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align scope across projects.
• Apply labor factors for overtime, shift work, congestion, trade stacking, and schedule acceleration.
• Participate in cost negotiations with clients and general contractors.
• Maintain an up-to-date estimate revision log.
• Conduct site visits to understand field installation requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Operations to align change order strategy with project goals.
• Maintain professional communication with customers, trade partners, and general contractors.
