Job summary

TGG is seeking an Estimator or Senior Estimator to join its preconstruction team in Cleveland, OH. The role focuses on developing accurate cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects, using Accubid and online bid portals, and managing bids from invitation to submission.

Qualifications

• Formal estimate development experience for commercial/industrial projects.
• Experience with Accubid and online bid portals is preferred.
• Strong reading of drawings, specs, and bid documents.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, and bid docs to develop estimates.
• Perform takeoffs and prepare labor, material, and subcontractor pricing.
• Manage estimating process from bid invitation to submission.
• Develop cost estimates using Accubid and online portals.
• Solicit and negotiate pricing from suppliers and subs.
• Analyze scope, costs, risks, and market conditions for bids.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineers, and clients during bidding.
• Prepare bid packages and proposals meeting deadlines.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and site walks as needed.
• Handle multiple estimates with attention to detail.
