Job summary

Jobot is seeking a senior electrical professional in the Greater Philadelphia Area to lead project estimates and bid management for large-scale contracts. You will oversee budgeting, staffing, and department performance while coordinating with contractors, architects, and officials.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience in electrical contracting, strong leadership, and a proven track record of delivering accurate estimates on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in electrical contracting or related field.
• Strong leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintains bidding database.
• Manages and administers department functions including operating budgets, staffing, work assignments, performance evaluations.
• Reviews proposal specifications, drawings and attends pre-bid meetings to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
• Reviews final estimate packages to ensure accuracy and completeness, prior to formal quotation; maintains margin in pricing.
• Supervises and drives work to be accomplished in department.
• Mentors and trains department personnel, and project staff.
• Interfaces with contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials.
• Updates skills for software tools and technology utilized.
• Makes site visits as needed.
