Job summary

U.S. Tsubaki is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to provide take-offs and estimates for industrial and commercial electrical projects. You will respond to RFQs/RFPs, prepare scopes of work, and coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors to ensure accurate pricing and on-time bid submissions.

You will estimate power, lighting, industrial wiring, and low voltage, while mentoring other estimators and maintaining safety as a priority across all project activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with strong electrical background.
• Minimum 10 years of commercial/industrial electrical experience.
• Minimum 5 years in estimating, design, or project management.
• Experience in automotive industry is a plus.
• Familiar with NECA and IBEW; OSHA 30 will train.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQ/RFPs to understand scope, timing and requirements.
• Create schedules to accomplish the scope of work (SOW).
• Attend pre-bid meetings, perform site visits to assess conditions.
• Estimate all electrical disciplines including power and lighting.
• Prepare bid packs and subcontractor pricing; review proposals.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations for quotes input.
• Lead bid process, ensure on-time submission; mentor others.
