Job summary

A leading energy services company in Texas is searching for an experienced estimator to manage projects in electrical construction. Responsibilities include estimating projects up to $25 million, attending pre-bid meetings, and analyzing proposals for client turnover. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in estimating along with a degree in construction management or engineering. Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in electrical construction estimating.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Scheduling experience with MSP or P6.
• Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite emphasizing Project Schedule and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Estimate projects up to $25MM based on complexity.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and review bid documents.
• Draft pre-estimate checklist and establish ROM pricing.
• Perform quantity take-offs and manage junior estimator tasks.
• Generate project risk analysis reports and cashflow tables.
