A leading energy services company in Texas is searching for an experienced estimator to manage projects in electrical construction. Responsibilities include estimating projects up to $25 million, attending pre-bid meetings, and analyzing proposals for client turnover. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in estimating along with a degree in construction management or engineering. Qualifications
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in electrical construction estimating.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Scheduling experience with MSP or P6.
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite emphasizing Project Schedule and Excel.
Responsibilities
Estimate projects up to $25MM based on complexity.
Attend pre-bid meetings and review bid documents.
Draft pre-estimate checklist and establish ROM pricing.
Perform quantity take-offs and manage junior estimator tasks.
Generate project risk analysis reports and cashflow tables.
