Job summary

Enterprise Electrical is seeking an Estimator II to independently develop accurate estimates for electrical service work, commercial construction, and data center scopes. You will define scope, price labor, and ensure estimates reflect field practices and profitability.

You will collaborate with field leadership, service managers, and vendors to validate scope and pricing for rapid tenders and larger bids, while maintaining cost databases and benchmarks for ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of field and estimating experience.
• Experience leading estimates for large commercial construction and mission-critical/data center projects.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform quantity takeoffs from drawings for conduit, feeders, lighting, panels, devices, and data systems.
• Prepare complete estimates for service work (T&M, troubleshooting, quoted jobs, maintenance agreements).
• Prepare complete estimates for small-to-mid-size commercial construction projects.
• Review drawings, specs, service tickets, and field input to fully define project scope.
• Develop labor estimates based on installation methods, site conditions and productivity expectations.
• Build detailed material lists and pricing using vendor quotes and historical data.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor quotes.
• Write clear scopes of work for subcontractors and internal teams.
