Job summary

You will collaborate with estimating teams and vendors to validate scope, pricing, and constructability. The role requires handling multiple bids, preparing Bills of Materials, and delivering analytical recommendations to improve estimating

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of electrical construction and drawing interpretation.
• Ability to read full drawing sets, specs, and one-line diagrams.
• Familiarity with NEC requirements and their impact on scope and cost.
• Experience building labor estimates from real-world installation methods.
• Skilled in evaluating subcontractor quotes and bid leveling.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate, complete estimates for electrical commercial projects and data center scopes.
• Manage multiple bids, coordinate with team and vendors, and validate scope and pricing.
• Prepare Bills of Materials and maintain pricing/methodology in Accubid/LiveCount.
• Review takeoffs, ensure conformity to project drawings, specs, and EEC standards.
• Support bid reviews, project turnover, and pre-bid site walks as needed.
• Mentor Estimator I staff and communicate findings in weekly meetings.
