Elite Executive Solutions is partnering with a leading electrical contractor in the Los Angeles market to identify an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to support the pursuit and delivery of complex commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating best practices.
• Experience preparing estimates for projects ranging from several million to large-scale electrical construction projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, Bluebeam, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of labor productivity, material pricing, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to develop competitive proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop conceptual budgets, design-build estimates, and value engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Preconstruction, and Operations teams during bid development and project handoff.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and client presentations as needed.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation.
• Support business development efforts by helping secure new projects and maintain strong client relationships.
