Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator for its Orange County operations, focusing on competitive commercial and multifamily electrical bids. Ideal candidates combine deep electrical estimating expertise with strong analytical and negotiation skills.

You will review drawings, prepare costed proposals, manage databases, and collaborate with PMs and preconstruction teams to win major projects in the region.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or multifamily construction.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and estimating best practices.
• Experience preparing estimates for projects ranging from several million dollars to large-scale electrical construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial and multifamily electrical construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to develop competitive proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop conceptual budgets, design-build estimates, and value engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Preconstruction, and Operations teams during bid development and project handoff.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and client presentations as needed.
• Identify project risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain estimating databases, historical cost information, and bid documentation.
• Support business development efforts by helping secure new projects and maintain strong client relationships.
