Job summary

Reliant Critical Infrastructure seeks a Senior Construction Electrical Estimator to prepare budgets and cost estimates for conceptual designs and regional expansion projects across fast-paced construction portfolios. You will generate bids, manage bid documents, and support handoffs from bid to execution.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years of estimating experience with MEP cost knowledge, leadership ability, and proficiency in Trimble/Accubid and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
• 5+ years in construction estimating/cost control with knowledge of MEP/ASC cost elements.
• Experience building or expanding estimating/cost control programs across a large organization.
• Experience leading and training a team.
• Ability to interpret contract terms, conditions, and exhibits as applicable to project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Attend site walks to assist in generating estimates and proposals.
• Generate estimates for potential projects in bidding.
• Maintain bid document database with PreCon managers for reference after award.
• Attend kickoff meetings to hand off from bid to execution.
• Travel as needed to support estimating activities.
• Oversee RFI and submittal processes.
• Identify further opportunities to generate revenue.
• Manage internal and external relations on site.
