Job summary

Diamond Peak Recruiting is seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to support a commercial construction team in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex. Based in Grand Prairie, TX, the role requires developing competitive bids, reviewing electrical scopes, performing detailed takeoffs, and coordinating with project managers and clients.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years of electrical estimating experience, strong knowledge of commercial systems, and proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft

Qualifications

• 4+ years of electrical estimating experience, preferably within commercial construction.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office; strong mathematical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret electrical plans and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Develop accurate, competitive estimates and bid proposals for commercial electrical projects.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, assumptions, and potential project risks.
• Maintain organized estimating documentation and project records.
