The Senior Estimator will review plans, conduct site visits, and collaborate with the management team to ensure cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CM or related field
• Experience in industrial/commercial estimating
• Ability to read blueprints, plans and specs
• Familiarity with NEC and building codes
• Strong math, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Holding a Master Electrician license is a plus.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for electrical and industrial controls and construction projects
• Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to determine project requirements
• Conduct site visits to assess project scope and conditions
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs to determine project expenses
• Identify potential risks and challenges that may impact project costs
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing
• Utilize industry-standard software to create comprehensive estimates
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the project
• Collaborate with the construction management team to ensure cost control measures are implemented

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and industrial estimating experience necessary
