Job summary

Elite Executive Solutions, in partnership with a leading LA electrical contractor, is seeking a Senior Electrical Estimator to support the pursuit and delivery of complex commercial and multifamily projects in the Los Angeles market, with some Las Vegas market opportunities.

You will review drawings, perform takeoffs, develop budgets, and collaborate with Project Managers, Preconstruction, and Operations to produce competitive proposals and accurate estimates.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or multifamily construction.
• Proficient with estimating software such as Accubid, ConEst, McCormick, or Bluebeam.
• Strong knowledge of labor productivity, material pricing, and subcontractor management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate estimates for commercial and multifamily electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, bid documents, and project requirements to develop competitive proposals.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and analyze costs for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Develop conceptual budgets, design-build estimates, and value engineering recommendations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Preconstruction, and Operations during bid development and handoff.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings, scope reviews, and client presentations as needed.
• Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies.
• Maintain estimating databases and bid documentation.
• Support business development by helping secure new projects and maintaining client relationships.
