Senior Electrical Estimator

Location: Atlanta, GA

Salary: $150,000 - $170,000 based on experience, plus package (details below)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  1. Develop detailed cost estimates from take-off to final bid submission.
  2. Assess labor and material requirements to ensure accurate project pricing.
  3. Attend pre-bid and scope review meetings to gain a full understanding of project expectations.
  4. Work closely with engineers, project managers, and vendors to refine estimates.
  5. Conduct site visits to evaluate project needs firsthand.
  6. Source competitive pricing from vendors and evaluate equipment leasing costs.
  7. Maintain organized change order documentation and work with the project team to standardize processes.
  8. Lead and coordinate with other estimators to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  9. Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the team and ensure project success.
What You Bring to the Table:
  1. Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and low-voltage systems.
  2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints with a sharp eye for detail.
  3. Experience estimating both large-scale and smaller projects.
  4. Confidence in assessing project risks and pricing strategies.
  5. Ability to handle tight deadlines and high-pressure situations with a cool head.
  6. Excellent communication skills—whether talking with vendors, clients, or your internal team.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft or Google Suite applications for estimates and documentation.
Experience Requirements:
  1. 6+ years
Bonus Points for:
  1. Familiarity with Accubid or ConEst Estimating Software.
  2. Hands-on construction experience— you know what it takes to get the job done.
