Job summary

Qualifications

• Utility experience in high voltage (up to 15kV) electric distribution systems.
• Experience with underground infrastructure like cables, vaults, manholes, switchgear.
• 5+ years in electrical distribution.
• Proficiency with diagnostic and performance monitoring tools.
• Proactive problem-solving with cross-team collaboration.
• Strong organization and communication for a project-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage external design firms to meet project requirements, quality, schedules, and budget.
• Support underground distribution project planning and execution (cable replacements, duct banks, switchgear upgrades).
• Assist with scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans for projects.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, GIS, construction, and contractors to align design intent.
• Prepare project documentation: drawings, specs, bid packages, submittals, as-builts.
• Visit sites to verify underground conditions and support construction.
