Job summary
Garg Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (P.E.) to lead electrical design for complex transportation and infrastructure projects.
The position is based in Rocky Hill, CT or Princeton, NJ and includes full lifecycle involvement from concept through construction support, with strong growth and leadership opportunities. The candidate will drive traction power and electrical system design, prepare scopes of work, develop drawings and specifications, and mentor junior
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
- 10 years of electrical design experience.
- Strong experience in Power distribution, Substations, Traction power, Grounding and Lighting.
- Expert knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE & UL codes.
- Software experience: AutoCAD, Revit, OpenBuildingDesigner, OpenRoadDesigner.
Responsibilities
- Perform traction power and electrical system design.
- Prepare electrical scopes of work and cost proposals.
- Develop drawings, schematics, layouts and specifications.
- Perform system calculations, modeling and analysis.
- Coordinate with utility companies and regulatory agencies.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers; present technical solutions to clients.
