Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-In-Training (E.I.T.) certification.
• 5+ years of electrical design experience (5-8 years ideal).
• Strong experience in: Power distribution systems; Substations & switchgear; Facility power systems; Grounding, lighting & low-voltage systems.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEEE & UL codes.
• Software experience: AutoCAD, Revit, OpenBuildingDesigner, OpenRoadDesigner.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility power, lighting, and electrical system design.
• Prepare electrical scopes of work & cost proposals.
• Develop drawings, schematics, layouts & specifications.
• Perform system calculations, modeling & analysis.
• Support construction including review of submittals & RFIs.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Mentor junior engineers and present technical solutions to clients & leadership.

Salary: $115,000–$145,000 annually, commensurate with experience, plus a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Position Overview

The Electrical Engineer will support electrical engineering design, quality control, and project execution for multi-million-dollar transportation and infrastructure projects, with a focus on facility electrical systems, lighting design, and facility power. This role includes full project lifecycle involvement - from concept design through construction support - and offers strong growth and leadership opportunities.
