Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) seeks an Electrical Engineer to supervise and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high‑quality design and delivery for industrial facility projects. The role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and hands‑on technical direction.

The candidate will plan, budget, and control segments of large engineering programs, travel to client sites for surveys, and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• College degree, preferably in fields related to Engineering or Construction.
• 10+ years of experience required.
• In lieu of formal education, 15 years of related experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Well versed in Microsoft suite of tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of electrical engineers and designers on projects for constructing new and renovated industrial facilities.
• Preferably for the chemical biofuel, biochemical and/or refining industries.
• Develop task analyses for engineering and design hours; work with project schedules and track earned value on completed electrical engineering and design.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment.
• Travel to client operating plants for meetings and surveys; travel may be by car or plane.
• Access to client sites may require a drug screen and background check and may require additional safety training.
• PPE may be required for client sites.
• PE license is preferred.
