Job summary

Performance Drone Works (PDW) is seeking an experienced hardware engineer to lead the design and development of complex PCB assemblies and electrical subsystems for tactical robotic systems. You will own schematic capture, layout guidance, design reviews, board bring-up, validation testing, and manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electronics or related field with 5+ years of professional electronics development experience.
• Experience leading design reviews and successful board bring-up in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex PCB assemblies and electrical subsystems from concept through production.
• Own schematic capture, PCB layout guidance, design reviews, board bring-up, validation testing, and manufacturing support.
• Design robust analog, digital, and power electronics solutions for demanding environments.
• Apply DFM, DFT, reliability, and scalability principles.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for complex hardware failures.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, product, quality, and supply chain teams.
