Performance Drone Works (PDW) in Denver, CO, is seeking a hands-on Electronics Engineer to design and own electrical subsystems for next-generation tactical robots. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to move designs from concept to production, applying DFM/DFT and reliability practices, and using Altium for schematics and layouts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in electronics development.
• Strong analog and digital circuit design knowledge.
• Experience with communication interfaces in hardware.
• Proficient in hardware bring-up, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of DFM/DFT and reliability principles.

Responsibilities

• Design PCB assemblies and electronic subsystems with growing ownership.
• Create production-ready schematics, layouts, and manufacturing outputs in Altium.
• Support board bring-up, validation, debugging, and transfer to manufacturing.
• Apply DFM, DFT, and reliability practices throughout development.
• Perform root cause analysis on hardware failures and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
• Maintain BOMs, ECOs, validation reports, and design rationale.
• Take end-to-end ownership of defined electrical subsystems from concept to production support.
