Job summary

Körber Supply Chain in Irving, Texas, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, document, and validate electrical systems for our automation solutions. You will contribute to hardware designs, prepare schematics, and generate performance reports for management.

The role requires CAD drafting tools, SAP experience, knowledge of NFPA, NEC, UL/cUL, CSA, IEC/CE, and a proven ability to work in an agile, multi-disciplinary team with travel up to 15%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
• 10+ years of hardware design experience including analog/digital circuits, panel design and layout, low voltage AC/DC work.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, control, and implement electrical systems and products.
• Document specifications, schematics, and diagrams throughout the design process.
• Produce progress reports for management.
• Assist in producing electrical systems and reducing downtime in manufacturing.
• Design and layout new electrical systems and create models/simulations.
• Test new systems and implement design changes as needed.
• Calculate cable sizes, wires, overloads, transformers, and power supplies.
• Travel up to 10–15%.
